A proudly Queensland brand, Mort & Co was first established in 1843 by Thomas Mort who was widely regarded as a pioneer in the export of frozen beef. Today, Managing Director and ancestor of Thomas, Charlie Mort along with the Mort & Co team are continuing to take South East Queensland beef to the world with our beef brand, The Phoenix Range. The range borrows the strong motif of the phoenix from the Mort family crest – it is a symbol, a family and a brand that is synonymous with superior beef.
